Getting Started — Login & First Steps

Overview

SMEOne authentication uses standard email and password login. The login page displays Adneti branding, Singapore compliance messaging, and product version information.

Entry routes:

Route Purpose
/web/login Standard login
/web Backend after authentication
/ May redirect to login, backend, or portal (customer variant)

Three security groups govern access:

  • SMEOne User — day-to-day operations
  • SMEOne Manager — extended operational rights
  • SMEOne Developer — Apps, Settings, technical menus (often hidden unless debug mode)

FAQ

Q: Why can't I see Apps or Settings? A: These menus are restricted to SMEOne Developer users. Standard users work within Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Accounting only.

Q: My login says "Wrong login/password". A: Verify email spelling, caps lock, and that your account is active. Contact your administrator if locked out.

Q: Can multiple users share one login? A: No — each person should have a unique user for audit trail integrity.

Q: What URL do I use to sign in? A: Use the production URL your administrator provided. Development addresses are not used for day-to-day work.

Q: Is there a customer portal? A: Some deployments enable portal access at /my for invoices, tickets, or contracts. Ask your consultant if portal is enabled for you.
