Merit Me — Employee Self-Service
Overview
Merit Me is the employee-facing portal opened in a separate browser tab from the Shell. It provides payslips, profile updates, messages, and PDPA data rights requests.

Employees with standard fleet access open Me from the Shell sidebar. RESTRICTED subscriptions may expose Me as the primary experience.
Step-by-Step Guide
Open Merit Me
- Sign in to the MeritHRMS Shell.
- Click Me in the sidebar — a new tab opens.
- Bookmark the Me URL for quick mobile access if allowed by policy.
View payslips
- On Dashboard, locate recent payslips or navigate to payslip history.
- Open a payslip PDF or on-screen detail.
- Payslips appear after payroll is approved for the period.
Update profile
- Open Profile (
/me/profile). - Edit permitted fields (contact number, address — per organisation policy).
- Save changes. Some fields may be HR-only in Talent.
Submit a PDPA data request
- Open Privacy (
/me/privacy). - Choose request type:
- Access — obtain a copy of personal data held
- Correction — fix inaccurate records
- Withdraw consent — where applicable under policy
- Complete the form and submit.
- Track status until HR or DPO responds via the organisation process.
Change password
- Use account settings or Force change password when prompted.
- Meet minimum complexity rules displayed on screen.
FAQ
Q: Why do I not see payslips?
A: Payroll may not be approved yet, or your role may not include payslip visibility. Contact HR.
Q: Can I apply for leave in Merit Me?
A: Leave is typically handled in the Leave module. Me focuses on self-service profile, payslips, and privacy.
Q: Who processes PDPA requests?
A: Your organisation Owner / DPO manages the queue under System → PDPA settings. Employees submit via Me.
Q: Is Merit Me available on mobile?
A: Yes — it is a responsive web app. Use your workspace Me URL on mobile browsers.
Q: Why does Me open in a new tab?
A: Me runs as a standalone SPA for security isolation and mobile-friendly layout.
